Dr. Z: A Holistic Healer, Femininity Embodiment Guide, and Yogi

Dr. Z is a passionate advocate for empowering individuals—especially women—to embrace their full, authentic selves by reclaiming the mind-body connection. Through yoga, alternative healing, and self-discovery, she creates transformative spaces that honor the balance of strength, vulnerability, and the unique power of femininity.

Her journey began in 2015 when yoga became a non-negotiable practice in her life, grounding her in a deeper connection to her body and spirit. By 2016, she answered the call to share this transformative practice with others, becoming a certified yoga instructor. Her training includes a 200-hour Hatha yoga certification and a trauma-informed yoga certification through CoCo, equipping her to support individuals on both a physical and emotional level.

Before transitioning into alternative healing, Dr. Z spent over a decade as a licensed marriage and family therapist, guiding clients through relational and emotional challenges.

As she explored her own wellness journey—incorporating weightlifting, Reiki, and yoga—she found herself drawn to the sacred interplay of mind, body, and spirit. This realization deepened her commitment to helping others, particularly women, integrate their strength, softness, and sensuality into their healing journeys.

Dr. Z has taught yoga in diverse settings, including her own studio in South Los Angeles, the Sierra Madre/Pasadena YMCA, and virtually from her home studio. Her offerings include Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Restorative yoga, tailored for all levels and bodies.

Her teaching emphasizes not just physical alignment but emotional release and empowerment, especially in spaces that celebrate the unique wisdom and resilience of feminine energy.

As a bridge between traditional therapy and alternative healing,
Dr. Z weaves together modalities that honor the holistic nature of healing. Her mission is to inspire and guide others, particularly women to embrace their innate power, reconnect with their bodies, and reclaim their wholeness with grace and confidence.
